Bobbie B. Addy of Bossier City, LA passed away in her home at the age of 74 on Sunday morning, June 26th, 2022, from a long illness. Her husband Harold was by her side, as she took her last breath before leaving her tired body and entering Heaven. A graveside service for Bobbie will be held at Point Chapel Cemetery in Doyline, LA at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022.
Bobbie was born on July 12, 1947, to Percy and Vivian Booth of Doyline, LA. She worked as a Dental Assistant in her young years and continued that dedication as an Avon Representative later in life. She won several awards with the company and loved helping her friends and clients with their skin care needs. Bobbie was a caregiver at heart and devoted much time to taking care of her mom prior to her death from cancer. She had a daycare in the home for many years after and helped several children. That prepared her for her grandchild Brenden whom she absolutely loved taking care of and watching him grow. She was a longtime member of Barksdale Baptist Church and loved to sing in the choir and tell others about Jesus.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her sister, Mable Osborne of Richmond, VA and both of her parents, Billy and Vivian Booth of Doyline, LA.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Harold Addy; one son, Brian Addy and his wife Ashley and their son Brenden; one sister, Dorthey Hogg and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to personally thank Danny & Melissa Tyler for their unwavering help. They would also like to thank Christus Hospice for their compassionate care.
