Bobbie Faye Edwards Duffala passed away on Monday April 19, 2021, she was 79 years old. Bobbie was born on Apr 13, 1942 in Batesville, Arkansas and she and her family moved to Bossier City when she was at an early age. Bobbie was a graduate of Bossier High School. She was a military spouse who supported her family, country and community as a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bossier.
Bobbie loved her family and friends by being there for anything, cooking for them or just listening. She cheered for her beloved New Orleans Saints in good times and bad. She loved her dogs and would spoil them as much as her children. She loved living in the country and maintaining her garden and making sure hummingbirds were fed.
Bobbie is predeceased by her mother, Faye Bennett; her father, Robert Edwards; and her sister and brother-in-law, Jackalin and Albert (Bud) Schaffner.
She is survived by her husband, James “Duffy” Duffala; her sisters, Kiersten Whelply (Ronald), Colleen Scott; and her brother, Billy Bennett; her children, Kevin Howell (Jen), Michael Howell (Tiffani), David Howell (Bernadette), Paul Duffala and Teresa Duffala. Along with her grandchildren, Jordan, Brianna, Cora, Kyleigh, Ruby, Justin, Brandon, Kirk, and Kala; great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Trinity, Kallen, and Brodie; and many more nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 1:00 pm.
