

BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services for Bobby “Bob” L. Reeves will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Dr. Graham Riggs officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Bob was born on November 29, 1931 in Wells, TX to Myrelle and Ernest Reeves. After graduation from high school he began a military career and retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a member of First Christian Church of Bossier City, LA serving as board Chairman and an honorable supporter of the VFW and Veterans Affairs. He was also a Bossier City Council District 3 Candidate, year 2000. Bob was a gifted gardener, woodworker, lover of gadgets and technology and an avid sports fan. He was also a dedicated supporter of “Run for the Wall”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 56 years, Annie Reeves, his son Ernie Reeves and multiple brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his devoted daughter Cynthia Gurganus and her husband Benjamin Gurganus of Longview TX, Patti and Tom (Toad) Ward of Duluth MN, Linda Reeves of Duluth MN, and son Roger and Betty Reeves of Bossier City LA, and 10 grandchildren along with several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Clay C Webster, Scott Gurganus, Lem Tennison, Robert Wallace, John Wilson, and Marty Broadway.
Memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association, First Christian Church of Bossier City, LA or your local VFW.
