Brenda was always a joy to be around. She always warmed a room with her smile and laughter.  She cared deeply for her family and her grandchildren.

We were so very sorry to hear of Brenda's tragic death.  She was truly an angel on this side of heaven.  I'm so glad we had a chance to meet her when she came to Pgh. for a visit.  It makes you realize how fragile life is, and you never know what each day may bring.  I know Brenda was loved by many and she will be truly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family members during this trying time.
Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone.  For as long as there is memory, she'll live on within our heart.

I have had the pleasure of being Ms Brendas mail carrier for several years the times i would see her at the mailbox  always brighten my day.I was so sorry to hear of her loss she will surely be missed.

I love you so much I can barely think of life without you.  You were the best mother, grandmother, sister, and friend anyone could ask for.  Your example has been passed on to Robin and I and your grandchildren.  You have taught me so many things.  I know I will be with you again one day.   You live on in my heart and soul.  You were my best friend.  You gave me a wonderful home and childhood.  You taught me what love really was and never gave up on me.  I know you are happy and free of all worries now and that brings me comfort.  I was so blessed to have you as a mother.

Brenda was one of the first people I met when I moved to Bossier.  She was the Relief Society President then and I immediately loved her.  She and I shared many laughs together over the years.  I still remember when she adopted one of our kittens, who my children loved so much, but they were happy to let the kitty go and live with "Granny Brenda."  I'm positive that the cat was the most spoiled cat on earth!!!  It was supposed to die anyday from a heart murmur, but it never did probably because it knew what a good deal it had going!  Thanks for sharing your mom with us.  Just know that we will miss her but remember all the great times we had with her.

Brenda is a bright and shining star.  Her beautiful spirit; her beautiful sense of humor; her beautiful heart; her beautiful sense of compassion and caring for others.  These are her gifts lost to us for only a short while, but not forever.

I am heart broken over the loss of my dear Aunt Brenda.  I will miss her laughter the most.  She was such a kind and thoughtful person.  My boys thought of her as another grandmother and so did she.  I am so thankful that I got to hug her and tell her I loved her the last time I saw her.  She had been so happy these last several months and I am grateful for that.  Love you Robin and Becky. Brenda was my oldest sister. She has lived with me for 10 years.  How can I say how much she will be missed...how can I say how much she was loved.  No words right now but I do know where she is and that is with our precious parents & beloved Jesus.  I will miss you and our times of laughter..our times of sharing prayers and our sad times, but will forever be thankful you were my sister.

Words cannot express the saddness I feel with the passing of Brenda.  She brought such joy and laughter every single day to our Nelson Energy family.  She loved God, her family,community and country like no one I've ever known.  She made everyone feel so loved and special, whether you knew her for years or just passed her in the lobby!  I know everyone that knew Brenda will miss her dearly, I know I will every single day !  May God comfort Brenda's precious, little grandbabies, daughters and sisters, and little grandpuppy, Rebel, too !

I was your mother's friend and visiting teacher during the 1990's.  We moved away in 1998.   I met you both while visitng at her home.  I loved your mother and knew for a fact that she loved you both to bits.  My little daughter Esther was a favorite of hers then. Brenda was one of the kindest persons I had ever met.  I am lucky to have known her.

I've been searching my heart for the right words for days now...the only thing I can come up with is that we loved her so very much.  She was an amazing person who had the ability to make everyone feel so special and loved.  I will miss her very much...she will always live on in my heart. The loss of Brenda is tremendous for all who knew her.  I worked with her at Arkla Exploration for a number of years.  She was always laughing, exurberant and stood up for what she thought was right.  She stood up for me during the time when Arkla was becoming Seagull Energy, and I have told that story many times. Even though I have only known Brenda for a few months, she brought such joy to my life.  I loved working with her and getting know her and her family through her stories.  She talked about her family with such love and joy.  She carried her grandchildren in her heart and wanted to be with them all of the time.
