HAUGHTON, LA - Brenda May Smith was born on October 30, 1941, in Beckley, W. Virginia and passed away on July 15, 2013. She was a devoted homemaker who took care of her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She loved her family more than anything else. Her greatest joy was to have her family around her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Wood; and husband, Charles Edward Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles Leon Smith, Robert Lee Smith and wife Shelley, and Belinda Mae Sivertsen and husband Karl; grandchildren, James Edward Smith and Samantha Lunsford, the mother of great-grandchild, Dalton Smith, Caitlin Mae Smith, Angela Marie Smith, and Nicole Leigh Smith. She was especially devoted to and loved her sister-in-law, Betty Pekins. She will be missed greatly here on earth.
There will be a graveside commital service at a later date.
