Brenda Robertson Weeks

Minden, LA - Services for Brenda Robertson Weeks will be 10:00 am Saturday May 27, 2017 at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Methvin officiating and assisted by Donna Valentine with interment following in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church from 5-8 pm Friday May 26, 2017.

Brenda was born Feb. 22, 1962 in Minden, LA to parents Barbara Jane (Kimmer) and Billy Henry Robertson and passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 in Shreveport, LA following an extended illness. She was a graduate of Minden High School and a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. Brenda was the Sales Manager and Family Service Counselor for Centuries and Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home and Cemeteries for the past sixteen years.

Brenda made friends easily and always told it like it was, honest and expected honesty in return. It is best described as the Brenda Weeks Experience. She was very unique and gave her love unconditionally.

The love of her life was her grandson, Trent. She was never happier than when she was spending time with him or telling all her friends about him. She was a great “Gmo”.

Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father Billy Henry Robertson. She is survived by her husband Billy Weeks, mother Barbara K. Robertson, daughters Whitney W. Grisham and husband Cody, Chelsi Weeks, and Angela W. Frye and husband Shane. She is also survived by her son Peyton Weeks and wife Lindsay, brother Kyle Robertson, sister Beverly Jane Waller and husband Mike, grandsons, Trent Harber, Holter Frye, and Steele Weeks, granddaughters, Madeline Frye and Ainsley Weeks.

Pall bearers will be Justin Perryman, Dwayne Chapman, Tim Greer, Kenneth Greer, Terry Gray, and Gary Floyd. The family would like to thank all their friends in Webster Parish and the City of Minden for all their love and support.
