Bryan was born on February 7, 1966, in Carthage, Texas, and was raised in Bossier City, Louisiana. After many years of serving his community and building a life there, he returned home to East Texas, where he spent his later years at the Good Medicine Ranch—a place that meant so much to him. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Krumpelbeck, and is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Krumpelbeck; his brother, Greg Krumpelbeck; his daughters, Hannah Barcelona and her husband, Ryan, and Haley Griffith and her husband, Tim. He was a proud and devoted “B” to his cherished grandchildren, Louie and Grace Barcelona, and Nora and Tripp Griffith. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him greatly. The family would also like to recognize Bryan’s longtime love and companion, Natalie Gingles, who shared the last decade of his life and was a constant source of love, happiness, and support.
Bryan dedicated his career to serving others. He proudly served as a firefighter with the Bossier City Fire Department before retiring after many years of faithful service. He also worked with ROCO Rescue, where his expertise, intelligence, and unwavering commitment to helping others earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.
The Good Medicine Ranch (GMR) was more than just a family farm—it was Bryan’s home and one of his greatest passions. He took immense pride in maintaining the property, working the land, caring for his equipment, and making sure it was always a place where family and friends felt welcome. The ranch reflected who he was: hardworking, generous, resourceful, and deeply rooted in the people and place he loved.
Bryan was happiest spending weekends with his Southern Winged Modified racing family, proudly behind the wheel of car 467. He also enjoyed beach trips with his family, playing golf, long-range shooting, and tackling any project that challenged his sharp mind. There wasn’t much he couldn’t fix, build, or figure out.
Those who knew Bryan will remember him for his quick wit, remarkable intelligence, kind heart, charismatic personality, and the genuine way he connected with people. He had a gift for making others laugh, offering wisdom when it was needed, and making everyone feel welcome. Above all else, Bryan loved his family deeply. His greatest joy was watching his daughters and grandchildren grow, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Bryan’s faith was the foundation of his life. He trusted in his Savior, Jesus Christ, and found peace in that assurance.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80 E., Haughton, Louisiana 71037.
A private family burial will follow at Deadwood Cemetery. In accordance with Bryan’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Family and friends are invited to gather afterward at his home to celebrate his life, share memories, and honor the man who meant so much to so many.
While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing Bryan is home with his Savior. His love, laughter, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to his family will remain with us always.
