over a year later, and Buster's light still shines bright- and his memory lives in all he loved, befriended and ministered to.

Bobby, Suzie, and Tracy and Family, y'all are in our prayers. We loved Bro. Benefied. He was a great preacher , friend, and a person you could talk to about anything. We have been so blessed to have been associated with the Benefield's all these years. I know Mrs. Benefield and my Mom and Dad , A.J.& Katherine Modisette are having a good time together.  You will never meet another man that is more loving, caring than Buster. Buster means so much to me, and I will miss him very much. I've got wonderful memories of him, and he will be missed greatly.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family today, tomorrow, and always.

My life was enriched by having Buster as my friend.  Few people have the gift of making your day better just by chatting with them the way he did and I'm sure he will continue to make me smile as I remember him the rest of my life.

My memories of Buster stem from the forresty building in the minden fairgrounds. A Mission was formed with a dream that became Eastside maissionary babtist church. Busters work with the youth groups played a big part in it all. Buster will be missed by many.

We are sorry for your loss. As I look back over my life, some of the fondest memories I have are of Buster, Lorrain, and ya'll. Pulling ice, eating watermelon after church on Wednesday night, frying fish in a wash-pot in our back yard, gong to youth rallies, our mothers visiting potential church members together when Eastside was being formed, watching Buster umpire ballgames, traveling and singing together, Buster preaching on the radio....the list goes on and on.

We have so many memories that involve you and Buster.  Pulling ice, eating watermelon at North Louisiana Ice, Company after church, Their faithfulness at Eastside, frying fish in a wash pot in our back yard, going to youth rallies, watching Buster umpire baseball.... the list goes on and on.  When I think back over my life Buster and Lorraine and ya'll are some of my fondest memories.  Remember the good times.

I know Buster's middle name, LOVE! He shared it, he WAS it. And compassion, and giving, and sharing, and gratitude, and Christian life like no one else I have known.
