

He was born on December 19, 1932 in Forrest City, AR. He was an Army veteran and a longtime resident of Bossier Parish, LA. C.A. graduated from LSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering. He was also on the Persian Rifle Team. He began a long term career in hydraulic engineering. He loved Bossier High School, and was inducted into Bossier High School Hall of Fame by the former Governor Buddy Roemer. He enjoyed to travel and organized multi year alumni graduates on cruises and group trips. He had a love for music and was elected President of the local chapter of the Barbershop Chorus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy A. and Nona Lincoln; beloved first wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Lincoln, second wife, Bobbie Lincoln of 30 years, and son, Craig Lincoln.
C.A. is survived by his son, Barry Lincoln and wife Kris; daughter, Jennie Hardesty and husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Sarah Holliday, Sydnee Lincoln; great grandchildren, Lilly Holliday, Lincoln Holliday and Chloe Molnar; nephews, Ed Cottom and wife Brenda, and Jason Cottom and wife Tanya and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate C.A.'s life at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 9, 2024, located behind the Heart of Bossier at Bossier Life, 1701 Old Minden Rd., home of Crossroads Church. Officiating will be Reverend Carlton Gilmer. Family will receive friends at 6:00 pm until service time.
