Services will be held to celebrate the life of Carl Lynn Parker at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with David Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive family and friends at 9:30 AM until service time.
Carl was born on September 15, 1950 and passed on September 13, 2021. Carl enjoyed fishing, hunting, long-haul trucking, and back porch sitting. Carl loved being outdoors and “Shooting the breeze!” He was a tough man with soft heart. Carl is known for his “country slang.” Some of his sayings were “It ain’t nothin’ but a thang” and “If the good Lords willin’ and the creek don’t rise.” To know Carl was to love him. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Lena Parker; his sisters, Ava Mountjoy, Orece Arnold, and Martha Ann Earles; brothers, William Parker, Jimmy Parker, Jeff Parker.
Carl is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Parker; daughters, Sammi Dunn and husband Richard Timothy Dunn, Kimberly Mitchell and husband Daniel Mitchell, and Kandolyn Sears and husband Kenneth Sears; grandchildren, Brian Allen Patterson, Dalton Cole Patterson, Braden Douglas Ison, Jacob Garrett Timm, John Sawyer Dunn, Leeora Sears, Kenneth Sears, Jr. and Jackson Stone Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Elijah, Nolan, and Violet; brother, Charles Parker Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert Stevens, Jeremy Savoy, Dalton Patterson, Braden Ison, Garrett Timm, Sawyer Dunn. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Parker, Sr. and Brian Allen Patterson.
The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers and support during this difficult time.
