Casey Lynn Stewart

Jesus wrapped his loving arms around Casey Stewart and carried her home on Friday, February 13, 2015. A Celebration of life service will be held for Casey on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Pastor Doyce Smith will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Casey was born on March 5, 1975 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on February 13, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. She loved spending time with her children, watching football and celebrating family traditions. She was a 1993 graduate of Airline High School where she was a member of the Blue Angel Dance Line.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, W.O. Cochran and Sylvia McCoy.

Casey is survived by her 3 precious children: Emily Tate, Dakota and Hailey Stewart; father, Carl S. Cochran and wife Amy; mother, Cathy Nitz Lewis and husband Eugene; sister, Carrie Haley and husband Stephen and their children, Abigail and Luke; grandmother, Delores Cochran; her caring mother and father-in-law, Butch and Sandy Stewart; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Creamer, Jimmy Cochran, Justin Creamer, Craton Cochran, Stephen Haley, and Kenny Sewell. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen (Dink) Dehabermann, Rodney Nattin, Billy Joe Edwards and Bobby Brannon.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the SICU Staff and physicians at Willis Knighton Bossier, also for all the prayers and visits from our loving family and friends.
