Visitation for Catherine Sue Goodman will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home, Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Private graveside services will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, directed by Reverend Ken Richmond, Associate Pastor of Central Assembly of God.
Catherine, affectionately known by family and friends as “Snooks”, was born in LeCompte, LA on August 21, 1942 and was a long time resident of Calcasieu, LA until moving to Haughton in 2004.
Catherine went to Oak Hill High School and earned a BSN from McNeese State University. She later completed her Masters degree in Business Management. She was a dedicated nurse and retired after having a major stroke.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Eulis Goodman and a brother, J. M. Goodman. She is survived by her son, Danny Allen White and wife Darlynn of Bossier City, LA.; granddaughter, Mareatha Hornsby and husband Wade of Frisco, TX; and a grandson, Dr. Steven A. White and wife Alicia of Raleigh, NC.; along with three great grandchildren, Avery Hornsby, Leon and Sonata White.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request that a memorial donation be made to the Building Fund of Central Assembly of God, Haughton, LA.
