Graveside services for Charles D. Wheeler will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with military honors. Bro. Billy Pierce will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Wheeler was born July 5, 1942 in Talladega, AL and entered into rest on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Postal Service.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, John and Iwanda Wheeler, wife, Jimmie Wheeler; brothers, John and Norman Wheeler; and sister, Mary Lou Moreland.
He is survived by his daughters: Deborah Moradel and spouse Rene` and Donna Burns and spouse Matt; brothers, Ralph and David Wheeler, step-children, Wayne Harrison, Sherry Dejong, Karen Masters and numerous grandchildren.
