Funeral services for Clyde Simmerman,70, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 with his son-in-law, Pastor John Ponder officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Mr. Simmerman entered into rest December 25, 2010 in Shreveport. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force with twenty years of service, and a resident of Bossier City since 1975.
He was preceeded in death by his father, Henry Simmerman, and mother Rosina Walters.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Judy Simmerman; four daughters, Barbara Gingrich and husband Gary of Overland Park, KS; Joy Crank of Bossier City, LA; Vicki Reed and husband Kevin of Benton, LA; Cheryl Ponder and husband John of Shreveport, LA; brother, Bernard Simmerman of Omaha, NE; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
