

HAUGHTON, LA – A Life Celebration for Craig Arnold Isom, 69, will be held Sunday, May 28, at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Haughton, followed by a graveside service at Haughton Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Gevan Spinney. Visitation for family and friends will be held in the church, prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Craig was born October 20, 1947, in Shreveport, La. He died suddenly on Wednesday, May 24, in his home. A life-long resident of Haughton, he retired from Avaya Communication after 35 years.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad C. Isom and Virginia Heard Isom; and his brother, Conrad B. Isom. He is survived by his sister, Lynn Isom Cole, and husband, George; daughter, Brandee Stigall and husband, Chuck; sons, Chris Isom and Colby Isom; step-daughter, Rhonda Douglass; grandchildren, Taylor Covell, and husband, Tyler; Brooke Stigall, Kagan Isom, Grayson Isom, Zander Isom, Jozey Isom, Jay Douglass, Jessica DeWolf, and husband, Jeremy, and Jordan Douglass; great-grandchild, Jaylee DeWolf; and a long list of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends who will greatly miss his quick wit, his “Craig-isms”, and his much-relied upon knowledge of family history and community news.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one of the numerous charities that Craig supported including Feeding America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Easter Seals, American Heart Association, ASPCA, American Lung Association, Disabled American Veterans, Boys Town, Pioneers, and The Nature Conservancy.
