

She was born August 16, 1954, Cynthia Ann Vinson, in Port Sulphur, Louisiana to Huey Melvin Vinson, Sr. and Lena Mae Vinson, the middle child of five.
Cindy was a selfless person who would see the beauty in everything. Always positive, and never spoke an unkind word about anyone. She graduated from Parkway High School in 1972. She was a faithful employee of Louis A. Williams & Associates as an insurance adjuster for over 20 years. She was a hard worker who was forever grateful for her work family. Cindy’s most cherished times were those spent with family, especially during the holidays, Christmas being her favorite. Each year everyone would await an invitation for her famous annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party.
Cindy is survived by her beloved daughters, Misty Lynn Tidovsky and son-in-law, Rev. Peter Tidovsky, and Ashley-Anne Parker; and her grandson, Nathan Scott Tidovsky. She also leaves behind her siblings, Pam Parker and husband John, Huey Vinson, Jr. and wife Diane, Vicki Bass and husband Mark; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Huey Melvin Vinson, Sr. and Lena Mae Vinson as well as her sister, Kaye Brown.
Honoring Cindy as a pallbearer will be her grandson, Nathan Scott Tidovsky.
The family would like to thank Dr. Anil Veluvolu and his staff for the wonderful care and compassion shown over the duration of her illness. The family would also like to thank, Kenneth Loggins “Kenny” for all of his help and support throughout the years.
A Celebration of life service will be held for Cindy on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael’s Chapel at St. John Berchmans in Shreveport, LA, interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The service will be officiated by Rev. Msgr. J. Carson LaCaze.
