Memorial services for Daniel "Dan" Barr,Jr.; 47, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Dan entered into rest March 6, 2010 in Shreveport.He was a Bartender for Harrah's Casino, with seven-teen years of service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Barr, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Laverne Bierstedt; sister, Dianne Fitzpatrick and husband Jack of Lafayette, LA; brother, Tracy Barr and wife Rebecca of Lafayette, LA; four nieces, Christina Nolan, Katey Barr, Chelsea Venable, Traci Nicole Barr, and three great-nephews.
Dan's request was for everyone who attends his memorial service wear Red.
