Darrin Ray Huddleston

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Darrin Ray Huddleston, 40, on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.at Broadmoor United Methodist Church in Shreveport with Rev. Kathy Wafer, Rev. Conrad Edwards and Rev. Ken Irby officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Haughton. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Hill Crest Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Darrin was born on September 2, 1970 in Great Lakes, IL and passed away on October 20, 2010. He was employed with ICEE Distributors for over 16 years. He loved spending time with his family, bowling, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Lynn Huddleston, mother, Kathleen Diane Huddleston, maternal grandparents, Ward and Carol Whitten and paternal grandmother, Barbara Huddleston.

Darrin is survived by his wife and best friend, Jackie and his boys, Josh, Cole, Dylan, Cade, and Benjamin. He is also survived by his father, Ray Huddleston and wife Linda; sister Gina Huddleston Williams and daughter Abbey; and paternal grandfather, Dalton Huddleston

Pallbearers will be Dan Festervan, Stuart Festervan, Eddie Arnold, Steven Arnold, Ernie Combs and Brad Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Wilson, Emile Juneau, Jerrell Cook,and Bobby Wilkinson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Abbruzzese and Alicia Ross and all of the MD Anderson Staff, Dr. Veluvolu, and The Grace Home.
