Funeral services will be held for Donnie Smart on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The service will
be officiated by Rev. Casey Hough, Pastor of Waller Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, April 15, 2013 from noon until time of service.
Donnie was a member of First Baptist Bossier. He was an avid outdoorsman’s and enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a “huge”
LSU fan. He loved spending time with the family and especially his grandsons. Donnie was very sociable and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Noreen Smart.
Donnie is survived by his father, Jewel “Nip” Smart; daughters, Nicole Smart, Courtney Smart Coile and husband Toby and Katie McCoy and husband Willie. He is also survived by six grandsons; and sisters, Cheryl Smart and Leslie Arce and husband Edward.
Pallbearers honoring Donnie will be: Dan Haugen, Mark Johnston, Randy Austin, Howard Hamby, Charles Stigall and Kevin Hydro.
