Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dorothy M. Bailey, 82, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Monday evening between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born in Virginia on December 13, 1931, and passed away in Minden, Louisiana on February 7, 2014. Dorothy lost her husband, Percy, in May of 2006. Together, they leave behind a legacy in their four children and three grandchildren that will continue on for many years to come.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert Bailey and wife Trish, Richard Bailey and wife Michelle, Kenneth Bailey, and Cathy Bailey; and her three grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, and Katelyn Bailey.
