Dorothy Terrell

Dorothy Terrell, 86, passed away on July 4, 2026. Born March 30, 1940, Dorothy was a resident of Bossier City, Louisiana. Her life was marked by a steady compassion, a kind-hearted spirit, and a selfless way of caring for others that will be remembered with deep gratitude and respect.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Terrell; her parents, Paul Sargent and Alice Doise; and her sister, Paula Sargent Carlburg.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, William Ricky Terrell and Douglas Kirk Terrell and wife Stacy Miller Terrell; her grandchildren, Summer Terrell, Slate Fuller, William Terrell, Kilee Fuller, Jake Terrell; her sister, Emma Sargent; and Jennifer Terrell, first wife of Doug and family friend.

Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Chapel Service will follow at 10:00 am with Rev. Rob Stockton officiating. Interment at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
