Funeral services for Drexal Ray McDonald, 77, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Radford officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Mr. McDonald entered into rest September 9, 2010 in Bossier City. He was a retired U.S. Air Force T/Sgt. with twenty-one years of service, and a resident of Haughton for thirty-seven years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Audrey McDonald, brothers, Russel Ferrell McDonald, Thelbert McDonald, and sister, Ruth Murray.
Survivors include his wife of forty-five years, Virginia McDonald, two sons, Perry McDonald and Troy McDonald, sister, Dianne Tanton, and brother, Bobby McDonald.
