Elizabeth Ann Hales

Haughton, LA – Funeral services for Elizabeth “Liz” Hales, age 60, will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, January 24, 2013 with interment to follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Brother Ken Basco will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Liz was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, sewing and puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Pruitt.

Surviving Liz are her loving husband of 45 years, Bobby Hales; daughter, Stephanie McGuire; two granddaughters, Kody McGuire and Alex McGuire; one great-grandson; father, Louis McNeice; brother, Johnny McNeice and wife, Linda; sister, Mary Alice Giovengo and husband, Jerry; and mother-in-law, Honrie Isaac.

Honoring Liz as pallbearers will be Bobby Ball, Ron Comstock, Dewayne Joyner, Spencer Smith, Steven Rabon and Collin Hales.

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude‘s Children’s Research Hospital or to Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Research.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the members of Bellevue Road Baptist Church, and to the nurses in SICU at Willis Knighton of Bossier.
