Elizabeth was born February 2, 1919 in Nachitoches Parish, LA. She came from a large family. She enjoyed her family, friends and life. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy “J.D.” Jinks, her parents; Lawrence and Ella Mae Pleasance Davis; sister, Florence Coleman; two brothers, Elmer “Elmo” Davis, Lawrence “L.D.” Davis. She is survived by sister, Lucille Strong of Alexandria, VA; two brothers, Leonard Paul Davis of Bossier City, LA and Joseph Winfred Davis of Wheatridge, CO; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Elizabeth’s family would like to thank Southern Hospice and Colonial Oaks Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care of Elizabeth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
