Eric had many interests and hobbies throughout his life. He played lead guitar in a local band in his senior year of high school and always had a fondness towards aircraft and flying. He earned his private pilot’s license in 2000 and fell in love with the sky. He attended Louisiana Tech University, studying Commercial Aviation. In his later years, he found himself engrossed in the world of technology. He was a skilled computer builder and programmer. Eric inherited many of his father’s tinkering traits and could often be found in the shop piddling away at his newest project.
While Eric enjoyed various hobbies, his true passion in life was his family. He loved his two children, Coen and Ayla, with all of his heart. Many wonderful hours were whiled away making music with Ayla and working on engines with Coen. He was close to his parents and considered his father to be his best friend.
Eric is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Denny; and is survived by his children, Coen and Ayla Denny; his mother, Mary Denny; his sisters, Shelly Denny McLain and Angie Denny Anders; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A small intimate graveside service will be held for Eric at Hill Crest Memorial Park on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 11:30 a.m.
