Ethel James Bailey went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2012. Ethel was born on July 15, 1933 in Gladewater, Texas to Sidney James and Hattie Henderson James. She was a resident of Shreveport then Bossier City, and was a member of Broadmoor Assembly of God Church in Shreveport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry N. Bailey. She is survived by her sons, Joe and Wayne Bailey and four grandchildren, Brittany Bailey, Parker Bailey, Brenna Bailey and Sara Bailey. A graveside service in Ethel’s honor will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Park on Sunday, July 22 at 1:00 p.m.
