Eva Jane was born July 3, 1925, in Saint Louis, MO to Viola and Eldon Kitchen. She was the fifth of six children born to this couple.
She is survived by her beloved son, William J. Miller, Jr.; her dear brother, Lovelace Kitchen; four loving sisters-in-law, Helen Kitchen, Elizabeth Kitchen, Elizabeth King, and Helen King Powell and husband Ronald Powell. She also leaves many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
Eva Jane was married to her beloved husband, William John Miller, Col. USAF, on July 10, 1945 in Ridgeway, PA. William preceded her in death on December 10, 2005.
Her teen years were spent in Puxico, MO. with her family. After graduating Puxico High School, she attended Southeast Missouri State Teachers College in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Jane, as her friends knew her, enjoyed thirty years as a military wife and was a member of St. Joseph Church in Shreveport and was also a member of the Shreveport Chapter DAR and Barksdale AFB Officers Spouses Club.
