A Celebration of Life will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park, Chapel, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, on July 6, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park beginning at 10:00 am until services start.
Floyd was born on February 3rd, 1956 to Henry and Willie Mae Tilbury in Bastrop, LA and passed away suddenly on June 25, 2026. Floyd was known for his laugh, sense of humor, and the big heart he brought to everyone he met, all rooted in a deep love for Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his father, H.L. Tilbury, Sr; mother, Willie Mae Tilbury, his sisters, Margaret T. Smith and Elizabeth Tilbury Lane, and brother Billy Tilbury.
Floyd is survived by his son, Derrick Tilbury and wife, Bethany Tilbury; granddaughter Sophia Tilbury, sisters Lois Tilbury Concilio and Hazel Tilbury Land; and brother, Henry Tilbury Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Tilbury, Michael Concilio, Brad Tilbury, Mike Horton, and Mike Davis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Medical Center Foundation in honor of his granddaughter.
