Services honoring Frances will be held on Friday, December 23rd, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, Louisiana. Officiating will be Adam Miller, Pastor of Plain Dealing Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Pease Chapel Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana on Bellevue Road. Visitation will be Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please send Gideon Bibles.
Frances was born March 4th, 1929 to Wilburn and Helen (Hanson) Hartley in Shreveport, Louisiana. Frances and Jake married January 14th, 1947. Jake passed away on January 29th, 2002 right after his 82nd birthday. There were married 55 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jacob (Jake) Parmer; a brother, Charles Hartley; son-in-law, Winard Pickering; and grandson-in-law, Joe Crowder and a great great grandchild.
She is survived by her four daughters, Wanda Pickering, Patsy Brown, Mary Lindsey (Denman) all of Haughton, and Jeanette Plunkett and husband Gary of Benton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
