Frances has been described by her niece as “such an amazing person: I have such heart felt memories of her. She was such a gentle, loving, kind-hearted person. She will always hold a special place in my heart and memories forever.” That is how she has been described by many: soft-spoken, gentle, kind and loving. She will be missed by her enormous family, church family and friends. She was a Doyline High School graduate. She loved Bingo and was a part of The State Championships in Bean Bag Baseball and Senior Olympics. Frances became a Christian at Peace Chapel in Haughton Louisiana and attended West Lake Baptist Church until her stroke in August of 2018. Frances passed away Sunday morning July 12th, 2020.
Frances is survived by her husband Robert Pete and children Chrystel Wade and Jerry Pete. She has eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Her siblings: Sallie Vaughn, Betty Coburn and spouse Clarence Coburn, Jeanette Kohinhofer, Fred Morgan and spouse Susan, James Morgan and spouse Kathy, and Robert Morgan and spouse Sherri.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents Rachel and George A.J. Morgan, her siblings Nellie Jane Morgan, Byron Morgan, ‘Red’ Morgan, George Henry Morgan, and Catherine Morgan.
Honorary Pall Bearers are: Richard Hall, Marvin Coburn, Mike Morgan, Danny Morgan, Brandon Pete, and brothers James Morgan, Fred Morgan and Robert Morgan.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Bossier City Louisiana for their care of her in her final days. We are all in agreement with what one of her brothers said: “I believe that she is free from a body that didn’t work anymore and is in another perfect body. She told me when I went to see her last that she was ready to go to be with the Lord. As the scripture says, precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of the saints. Death is just a servant that takes us from this life into the presence of the Lord”.
Memorial Services will be held at West Lake Baptist Church in Doyline Louisiana on Wednesday July 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mike Sanders officiating.
Face Masks and social distancing will be required, thank you.
