DOYLINE LA – Services for Frank Vess, 82, will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in Hill Crest Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Gerald Palmer officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Frank was born in Swannanoa, North Carolina and passed away on September 14, 2013 in Doyline Louisiana surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Vess and Sophronia Morris Vess; 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Velma Vess; sons, Denny Ray Vess and wife, Regina, William Leroy Vess and Jerry Glenn Vess and wife, Connie; one daughter, Marie Walden; five grandchildren, Jessica Herren and husband Cory, Heather, Jennifer, Amber, and Maryetta Hayes; two brothers, Ted and Earl Vess.
