Freddie Lynn Ray Crews “Sissy” was born in Camden, AR on September 11, 1950 to Fred Clanton Ray and Carolyn Ann Jenkins. Lynn gained her Heavenly wings on Friday, November 7, 2025 in Shreveport, LA after battling cancer. She will be honored with a memorial service at Lake Claiborne closer to Christmas.
Until just recently, Lynn would often be off traveling the world with her family, friends, Red Hat Society, or her favorite church groups. Traveling was more than a hobby for her, it was her passion. When she wasn’t traveling, she would be attending ballgames and social events with one of her precious grandchildren. Lynn loved animals of all types, especially horses, but her puppies Bella and Burt held a special place in her heart. She spent many hours trail-riding and attending play days and rodeos. She also loved playing cards, Pokeno, Canasta, decorating, crafting and let’s not forget her love for being shoved into the trees while fishing with Dave.
Lynn was preceded in death by both parents; sisters Teresa “Tody” Temple and Sandra “Peanut” Harris; father-in-law P.A. Crews; and mother-in-law Mildred Lucille Crews.
Left to cherish her memories is her beloved husband of 28 years, David Wayne Crews; daughter Tammy Shepherd; daughter Leslie Lee and husband Jason; stepdaughters Casey Crews and Stacy Perez and husband John; grandchildren Anna Marie Christensen and husband Matthew; Alexis Lee, Evan Lee, Ryan Lee, Jett Lee, Ava Lynn Lee, Dillon Shepherd, Haley Shepherd (Danielle), Chandler Taylor, Carley Taylor and Trae Hale and great granddaughter Briar Kate Christensen. Sisters Sharon “Prussy” Crochet and husband Tom, and Tanya Allen. Lynn also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members that loved her dearly.
