Joyce and family, I am so sorry.  I knew something was wrong when I did not see you in the dinning room.

"My memories with Uncle Gabe was his ability to make you feel so special with his mischiveous grin and his kindness.  He loved all of us, his nieces and nephews, and we loved being around him.He was everyone's favorite Uncle!"

He was the sweetest uncle I had.  Never worry or fear what he might say to me.  His children are so lucky.  and Aunt Joyce too.

So very sorry to read that Gabe has pasted. He was a really great friend to my Father and Mother. Always ready to lend a hand in times of need. He will be missed by the West family. We will keep you our prayers. I will always think of him as the man who could fix what my Dad couldn't what a pair those two were and what funny they were to have around. The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Gabe James Broussard, Jr. our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Gabe.   And to Gabe it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars while serving in the U.S. Air Force.  Gabe, we bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.
