A Celebration of life service for George W. Barker will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home on March 1st, 2022 at 2:00pm. Bro. Tom Brown and Bro. Sonny DePrang will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery.
George Wright Barker, 90, passed away February 25, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana. George was born December 30, 1931, in rural Louisiana.
He was a member of Bossier Baptist Church, Bossier Sheriffs Posse, a Shriner, and held the prestigious title of Past Grand Patron for the Order of the Eastern Star of LA. He enjoyed playing golf and looked forward to coming home to feed his cat named cat.
He is preceded in death by his late wife, of 70 years, Audrey L. Barker.
