BENTON, LA – Gerald Ray Mann Sr., 66, of Benton, Louisiana passed away on March 28th, 2017 of a heart attack. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 from 2-5 PM at Hill Crest Funeral Home. There will be a private family service at a later date.
He was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on July 24th, 1950. Jerry “Pops” graduated from Airline High School and worked as an Electrician for the Local 194. He was married to Frances Smith Mann for 48 years.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Jasper Mann; Brother, Robert Mann; Father-In-Law, Marshal Smith.
Jerry was survived by his wife, Frances Mann; Son, Jerry Mann Jr., and daughter, Jackie Cavanaugh; Grandchildren, Dustin, Emily, Collin, Noah, Presley, and Great Grandchild Brayden; Brothers and Sisters, Richard Gorham, Linda May, Jackie Upchurch, and Brother-In-Law, Ronnie Smith, and Son-In-Law, Steven Cavanaugh; Mother, Marion Mann and Mother-In-Law, Jean Smith.
