HAUGHTON, LA – Glenn Alderman’s ministry can be summed up in six words, “Love God and love each other.”

I think of you often and pray for comfort and hope as you live each day out before The Lord. You are an amazing lady and are a true example of God's mercy and grace when facing the storms life can bring. May the God of all comforts... continue to comfort you through each moment of every day.
Much love and respect ??

This will be an odd message because I have not met Brother Alderman, his wife or family. I have no physical connection to him or his ministry. I have been living with Stage IV breast cancer for three years. I trust that God is with me an will love and care for me at every step. Late last night I woke up afraid. Afraid for myself a little, but mostly afraid for my family: my husband and five children. Who will care for them. How will they care for each other. How will my husband return to living his live. As I often do when I'm awake I began wandering the internet of sites that bring me peace, quiet, secure faith. I was somehow led to this page. Reading of Bro Alderman's faith was amazing. What a man of God. But even more, reading the outpouring of love and concern for his family; the promises of ongoing trustworthy support brought peace to my heart. God's flock will care for one another as we have been commanded: your neighbor as yourself. I thank God for Bro Alderman, his family and all you wonderful Christians. Tonight you ministered to me!

My favorite thing that Bro. Glenn always said was, "Take your Bibles out!" He was a wonderful teacher of scripture and guided our congregation well in our Christian lives by setting a great example! You could see the love he had for God, Robin and their kids, & the church family. He will be greatly missed!
