Helen S. Butler

She passed away on June 6, 2024 after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her two sons Scott McCann Butler and wife, Missy and Daniel McCann Butler and wife, Mary Beth; grandchildren Jacob, Olivia, and Emma; brothers David Stephenson and Tommy Stephenson; sisters Sharon Lofton and Susan Freire.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Butler; father, Floyd Stephenson, Sr. and wife, Jewellene; mother, Evelyn Teague; brothers John Harvey, Wayne Harvey, and Rusty Stephenson.

Helen loved the New Orleans Saints football team, working in the yard, and traveling.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, Louisiana. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 2:00pm. The Committal Service and Interment will follow at Wallace Baptist Cemetery, in Pelican, LA.
