Jerry retired from the U.S. Air Force with twenty years of faithful service. Following his military career, he went on to work as a cross country truck driver; a job he truly loved. Jerry also loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Mozelle Black; daughters, Michele Sweeney and Renee Black; son, Kenneth Black; step-children, Sandra Young, Kandy Howard, Jimmy Barks, and Chuck Miller; and cousin, Rhonda Denman.
Per Jerry's wishes, he will be cremated with a private family service to be held at a later date.
