

Hillory was born on March 19, 1933 in Turkey Creek, LA to Otis W. and Velma (Saunders) Clark. He attended Pine Prairie High School and enlisted in the Air Force after graduation. Throughout his military career he served stateside, as well as in Thailand during Vietnam and Germany. He reached the rank of Master Sergeant before his retirement. He was a lifelong patriot and continued to show his support of our military with VFW Post 4588.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed duck and squirrel hunting, and most recently deer. Hillory was a great gardener. He shared his fruits and vegetables with his friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Paula Clark.
Hillory is survived by his brother, Loyd Clark (Lucille); sisters, Mary D. Bond (William) and Meldaise Johnson and numerous nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, located at 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana, 71037, on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow with (CPT), US Army Reserve Chaplain, Dr. Steven Bell, Senior Pastor First Methodist Church Shreveport. Burial with military honors will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
