Ida Imogene "Aunt Jeannie" Sheffield Logan

A graveside service for Ida Imogene “Aunt Jeannie” Sheffield Logan will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Pastor Darrell Cooper officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Ida was born on September 18, 1922 in Ringgold, Louisiana to the parents of Shelton and Cora Sheffield, Sr. She passed away peacefully on January 27, 2015 in Bossier City Louisiana.

Ida was a member of a nondenominational church. Ida worked for over 30 years for United Oil and Gas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Oscar Logan, parents, Shelton Sheffield, Sr. and Cora Crow Sheffield, brothers, Billy Joe Sheffield, Lexy B. Sheffield, Shelton Sheffield, Jr. and Eloyce Long Sheffield.

Left to cherish her memory are nephews: Johnny Sheffield and wife Jeannie, Bubba Sheffield and wife Tina; nieces Jeannie Sheffield McClung, Gay Sheffield Ganey and husband Keith, Charlotte Sheffield Milam and husband Keith; She is also survived by seven great nieces, five great nephews, one great-great niece and 18 great-great nephews.
