To my husband, I will always remember your smile. You seemed to have away about you that would always make me laugh. You had a wonderful character that would light up the room. Jack you were a great husband, father and friend. For those of us that are still here we can only hope to be half the person that you were. You may be gone but you will live eternally in my thoughts, dreams, and memories. My only regret is that we will not be able to travel together, we will not have any more time here on earth; but will be together eternally.

My deepest sympathy to Jack's family. Jack was one of the friendliest person that I have known.  I have many good memories of Jack through our time of working together at Cmpbell-Taggart. He well be greatly missed.

Jack and I had some wonderful conversations and laughs at the fitness center. He was a wonderful man and I will miss him dearly! He was so sincere and thoughtful. I will always remember his kindness and generosity he showed to me during the time we knew each other. Prayers for Lona and his family during this time. Love you always Jack!

I have alot of great memories of Uncle Dick. We were all so sorry to see Dick & Lona leave Charlotte. We have missed them both. The most fun memory was going out on Uncle Dick's boat on Lake Norman. My favorite picture of Jack was taken then. When Jack got his liver transplant, he was overwhelmed with the meds he had to take. Uncle Dick came over and calmly helped Jack sort his pills and make a schedule for taking them. Jack was so grateful. My condolences to all family & friends.

Jack was one of the first CT employees that I met when I moved from St. Louis to join CT after its acquisition by Anheuser Busch.  I remember Jack as a first rate auditor and as a person who always had a positive outlook.  Jack's broad smile and hearty laugh are notorious.  I know that he will be missed by all of his family and friends.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Jack R. Lockart our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Jack.   And to Jack it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the  Korean War while serving in the U.S. Army.  Jack, we commend you for your honorable service.  You are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction.  You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country.  We bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.

Well Muss, I did not know you were ill and I am so sorry that I did not get to call you Muss just one more time. I really have always enjoyed our annual phone calls and discussion of old times. You were my very first auditor in 1974 in Greensboro, NC and I learned a lot from you and always treasured our friendship. I will miss you and the world will miss your jolly soul. God Bless.

We worked at many projects together over the many years.  His talent and personality were awesome and very welcome in good and bad assignments.  He will be missed by the many friends in the trade. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I remember when we were kiddos we would either be jumping on the trampoline in your dad's backyard or the the one in my dad's on Glacier Lane. Your dad had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh.

Chris, my sincerest condolences on the loss of your Father.  My prayers are with you & the family during this time of grief. It is amazing how much you look like your Father.  I hope all your fond memories will help you during this difficult time.
