Jimmy was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish with Jerry Greer, James Wade, and Randall Rains (who has passed on to glory). He was also always there to lend a helping hand to someone in need whether it be physical labor or food from his freezer.
Not only was he a volunteer fire fighter at East 80 Volunteer Fire Department, now known as the Bossier Parish Fire District One, he also helped get it started.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80 E, Haughton, Louisiana 71037. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 2:00 PM with Shane Deville and Amy Hollis officiating.
The family would like to thank all those who cared for him at Willis Knighton Bossier.
