He was born in Minden, Louisiana on December 14, 1967 and graduated from Minden high school. James was an employee for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry with the Office of Animal Health and Food Safety for 28 years. He was an avid fisherman, die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved spending his spare time with his family and friends.
James is preceded in death by his son Logan Greenwood.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Yvette and Edgar Greenwood of Haughton, Louisiana; daughters Jessica Greenwood of Bossier City, Louisiana, Lindsey Greenwood of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Katelyn Young of Strat, Louisiana; grandson Brayden Guilliams; and brother Bernard Lebel.
Arrangements will be held Saturday October 30, 2021 beginning at 11 am at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, Louisiana.
