

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Graveside services for James Rivers Roberson, lovingly called "Jamey", will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 31 at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Bro. Harrell Shelton of Airline Baptist Church officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation at 12 p.m. until service time on Monday.
Jamey was born November 22, 1952 in Bossier City, La and was called home March 25, 2014.
Jamey was energetic and loved life. He believed in living life each day to its fullest. Jamey loved fast cars and motorcycles. He was a very intelligent and excellent mechanic. He worked on motorcycles most of his life and really enjoyed it.
Jamey had a heart of pure gold, and as big as the world. He was always very kind, always had a smile, and was very generous to all. Jamey also was very appreciative to all things done for him. Jamey never met a stranger and had countless friends. He found his peace with AA and was about to celebrate his 5th year of sobriety.
He was preceded in death by his father James A. Roberson. He is survived by his mother Lillian Webber Roberson and cousins Paul Florence, Susan Roberson and Mary Lynn Florence.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Doss, TJ Owens, Wayne Ebarb, Matt Ebarb, Ralph Walters, James D. Wedding. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Johnson, Buddy Holland and Charlie Cocroft.
