Dear Sybil & Family:
There are no words to express how shocked and sad we were to read Jim's obituary in the P.C. News, January 5th. We have such fond memories of our time with both Jim and you, Sybil. What a wonderful experience it was to have Jim bring you, Sybil, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, to his last Class Reunion so they could see where he had graduated from High School. Jim was proud of where he graduated from and we always felt so special to have you and Jim come all the way from LA., to Malta, MT. to attend his Class Reunions every 5 to 10 years.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Sybil, and to all of your family. Jim was a very special guy who loved you all so much!
Your friends,

Paul Coles

I worked with Jim at GM. He certainly was one of the best. My prayers go out to his family as they have lost a great man, One who served his country and his friends. He is with our God now and we can take comfort in that.

I had the honor of knowing James Spartz for a short time. In that time I was always impressed by his devotion to his family, his country and his faith. It took only one visit to feel like he was Grandpa Spartz to me as much as he was to my wife and his grand daughter Jessica.

My sincerest condolences go out to Grandma Spartz as well as to the rest of the family. James was a great man, a great husband, father, grand father and great-great grandfather. He will truly be missed.
