James H. Thomisee, 83, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012. He was a Catholic by faith. James retired from the United States Air Force with 21 years of service and retired from the City of Shreveport, LA.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Mildred F. Thomisee and several siblings.
James is survived by his sons, Billy Horton (Linda) and Ricky Lynn Thomisee (Rebecca); sisters, Sylviana Sulser, Carolyn DeShong and Catherine Gillen; grandchildren, Nicole Burke (Paul), April Miskell (Derrick), Damon Thomisee (Jacqui) and Dustin Thomisee and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
