Jan Morris Toothman

have a memory or condolence to add?

David Cole

May 23, 2020

To the family of Jan,

My name is David Cole, a former patient of Jan’s from Vivian, Louisiana. When my doctor suggested I get treated by Stat Home Health, she was one of the nurses assigned to me. During my days of treatment, Jan always made me feel better, with her gentle care and kind words of encouragement, in spite of me being in a considerable amount of pain due to a surgical wound and perhaps occasionally grumpy. She would even go beyond and above her duty, by calling or texting to check on me, while off the clock. I can testify that Jan’s dedication to her patients was second to none. In any case, my heartfelt condolences goes out to her entire family, friends, coworkers, and former patients. I know she will be greatly missed. She was such a sweet lady, glowing with charm and charisma. I affectionately referred to her as my favorite nurse and she would return the affection by referring to me as her favorite patient, although I’m sure the same was the case for others. I love you Nurse Jan. May your Soul Rest In Peace! :(
