

BOSSIER CITY, LA – A Celebration of life service for Janice Marie Taylor will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February, 18, 2014 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rickey Ingram officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 5:00 pm. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born on July 5, 1952 and left us on February 14, 2014. Janice enjoyed reading, furniture shopping, yard work, spending time with her grandchildren, making wind chimes or building anything, laughing with family and friends, dancing, fishing and working on the computer, and to know her was to know her frequent saying, “It’s five o’clock somewhere”.
Janice was preceded in death by her father Ernest Coursey, mother Caraneda Johnson Chamberlain, stepfather Lloyd Chamberlain, and sister Pamela Harmon.
She is survived by her husband Paul Taylor, son Ronnie Chambers and wife Dana, daughter Tammy Krishelle Chambers, stepdaughters Kristy “Cricket” Tripple and husband David, and Shelly Figueroa and husband Jaime, grandchildren Ty Patrick Chambers, Dustin Russell, Dayton Russell, Dakota Villard, Tyler Villard, Jamie Figueroa and Marissa Figueroa.
Pallbearers will be Glen Hawthorne, James Prow, Jeff Jones, Tim Young, Jamie Corken and Jason Scott
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to extend a special thanks for their love and compassion to Mildred “Sissy” Ingram, Rickey Ingram, and Jennifer Pesnell, as well as all the cancer center doctors, nurses and the hospice staff at Willis Knighton.
