BOSSIER CITY, LA – Janie Faye Tinsley was born in Inverness, MS on February 23, 1931, and went on to be with the Lord on April 19, 2013. She lived in Bossier City for the past 50 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bossier City, being a very faithful Christian to the end.
Services to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Mike Green of Central Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Janie met no strangers and was always helping others asking nothing in return. She was the backbone of her family and stopped at nothing to provide and care from them. Failure was not an option to her.
The Lord puts angels on the earth and we got one and we called her “Mom”. Thank you, Mom, for the love, care and sacrifices throughout the years. Your legacy will live on through us. We love you.
Janie is preceded in death by her husband, John Tinsley; son, David Hatchett; and daughter, Janice Kay Hatchett. She is survived by sons, Charles Hatchett, Danny Hatchett and Jim Hatchett; and ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Hatchett, Zach Hatchett, Jason Hatchett, Jason Malone, Trace Pate and Danny Pate.
In addition, the family would like to thank Trinity Home Health Care and Southern Care Hospice for their outstanding care that was provided to our Mom.
