A graveside service in honor of Jean Boudreau will be held 3PM, Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Dr. Randy Harper of Bellaire Baptist Church will serve as officiant. The family will welcome visitors from 1 PM to 2:45PM at the funeral home.
Jean was welcomed into this world by her parents, Willie H. and Jennie Wesson Morris, on Thursday, September 27, 1936 in the small town of Plain Dealing, LA. She enjoyed her family and friends whether just spending quality time together or cooking and eating. Her three sons were the light of her life, and she beamed when they were around her. She spent her mornings and afternoons doing activities at the Council on Aging where she enjoyed crocheting, coloring, and playing bingo. Spending time outdoors was also something that brought her pleasure since she could fish, go for walks, feed the ducks, and just enjoy nature. We can only imagine the sights she’s taking in now since her heavenly graduation on Monday, June 5, 2017.
Preceding Mrs. Boudreau in death are her loving husband Roland F. Boudreau, brothers J.B. and J.W. Morris and sister Louise Stanley. Left to cherish her memory are her son Roland Al Boudreau with wife Jennifer, son Robert L. Boudreau with wife Sherri, son Damon L. Boudreau with wife Sharyl, granddaughter Shannon McKinney with husband Elmo, grandson Tony Boudreau, granddaughter Bailey Boudreau, grandson Nolan Boudreau, grandson Carson Boudreau, great granddaughter Michala Boudreau, great grandson Brayden Boudreau, great grandson Landen Boudreau, sister Kaye Wyatt, sister-in-law Doris Wilkinson and numerous other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
